VIP Privacy Policy
Our VIP Privacy Policy is structured to give you ultimate assurance that the information we collect from you is used for the sole purpose of better serving you in the most complete way. For instance, you can voluntarily offer different “levels” of information based upon the services you would like to take part in or use:
- If you choose to correspond with us through the website email system, we naturally will need your email address. This enables you to ask us questions about certain properties, tell us more detail about your plans and timeline and likes and dislikes. It also provides us the opportunity to get to know each other and build a sense of trust before we ever meet in person to start shopping for your home.
- If you are interested in communicating with us by phone, you will provide your phone number – always voluntarily. Your personal phone number is never something we take advantage of or over-use. We would prefer that you initiate the majority of calls so that we don’t over-step our welcome.
- If you would like to take advantage of some of the tangible tools that we can offer you to make your home search or sale more successful, we would naturally ask you to provide a mailing address.
We call our policy VIP because, as you know, the privacy of celebrities and royalty (considered by most to be VIPs) is closely guarded. Well, in our opinion, you are the VIP because our business revolves around your needs. Therefore, we guard your privacy with diligence. We don’t share, sell or in any way voluntarily reveal any piece of the personal information you provide through our website, emails or phone conversations. We guard it as if it is our own, which indeed it is our own, because you have entrusted it to us to build a relationship that may result in the purchase or sale of your home. Our integrity goes before us and is confirmed by our clients.
What Information Do We Collect?
When you visit our website you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website.

Email Information.
If you choose to correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email address and our responses.
Web Site Use Information
Similar to other commercial websites, our website utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" (see explanation below, "What Are Cookies?") and Web server logs to collect information about how our website is used. Information gathered through cookies and Web server logs may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, time spent at our website, and the websites visited just before and just after our website. We, our advertisers and ad serving companies may also use small pieces of code called “web beacons” or “clear gifs” to determine which advertisements and promotions users have seen and how users responded to them.
How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?
Broadly speaking, we use personal information for purposes of administering and expanding our business activities, providing customer service and making available other products and services to our customers and prospective customers. Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to our website, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. You may notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive these offers by emailing us at Judy@RelocateToSyracuse.com or just opting out of any email correspondence.
What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a very small text document, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier. When you visit a website, that site's computer asks your computer for permission to store this file in a part of your hard drive specifically designated for cookies. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser's preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other sites.
How Do We Use Information We Collect from Cookies?
As you browse our website, the site uses its cookies to differentiate you from other homebuyers. In some cases, we also use cookies to prevent you from seeing unnecessary advertisements or requiring you to log in more than is necessary for security. Cookies, in conjunction with our Web server's log files, allow us to calculate the aggregate number of people visiting our Web site and which parts of the site are most popular. This helps us gather feedback in order to constantly improve our website and better serve our customers. Cookies do not allow us to gather any personal information about you and we do not generally store any personal information that you provided to us in your cookies.
Sharing Information with Third Parties
We NEVER enter into alliances, partnerships or other business arrangements with third parties. Plain and simple. The only people other than your Realtor that might see your information is the mortgage broker if you request a mortgage pre-approval.
Notice of New Services and Changes
